Top 12 hens party destinations in Australia

Your girl is only getting married once right? So why not go big with the hen's party and celebrate the bride-to-be somewhere out of town! Whether the hen is an outdoor adventure lover, or she loves to be wined and dined, we have picked out our top 12 hen's party destinations across Australia for the ultimate girls weekend away!

Before we get stuck into the good part, there are a few things to bear in mind when it comes to including and deciding on a destination.

First and foremost, the bride's expectations around what the celebrations are to entail. If she wants something local with no frills attached, then stick within that ballpark. If she's given you free rein, and you know she's always up for a surprise girls' trip, then this is your time to shine!

Secondly, consider the budget. This will need to be decided on nice and early and relayed to everyone that's going to attend. There's no point in organising the best weekend away with no expense spared if the bride's nearest and dearest can't afford to go. Bear in mind, as the bridal party, you'll probably be shouting the bride as well, so factor that into your costs!

Lastly, don't forget to think about the time of year. Whilst there's always something to do in each destination no matter what the season. If the bride-to-be loves the sunshine and the heat, maybe a trip down to Tassie in the wintertime (as beautiful as it can be) isn't what she had in mind.
